Neighbor's 3800 stalling

Hey, my neighbor has a 3800 GP that stalls out. Based on what I can find on the net,I should probably be looking at the crank position sensor or the MAF maybe? It seems like the Crank position sensor is a bit of a pain in the ass to change. It doesn't seem to drop any codes just stall and then start again when cool.

unplug the maf and see if it runs better. If it does then the maf is bad

What about corrosion on the + terminal of the MAF? I found some oxidation I hit with contact cleaner.
