Looks cool to me. I do my own version of this annually with friends... and costs about the same, but we chill in a giant cabin in the middle of the woods. Canoing is an option if you choose, but we are truly "all inclusive" (booze and all the food you can handle for 4 days, 3 nights) for about the same price!

First night in a Rustic Bunkhouse where the staff can help you plan and organize for your trip (dinner on your own)

Great fishing for walleye, bass, and more (tackle and fishing poles not included)

So you basically pay $200 for someone to tell you how to camp and then say "glhf" with some minimal gear they give you.

interesting... not a very exciting place to visit though

Whaaaaat?!? I love being in the woods and on an adventure! We did Turtle Flambeau in northern WI last year, and I plan to do a Boundary Waters week-long canoe trip with some buddies this year. There's not much better than canoe-camping in the wilderness while fishing and hunting for your own meals.

The price of this doesn't seem too bad, considering how much it can cost for a canoe rental itself.

You've peaked my interest...how so?

So much untouched nature everywhere! Shit tons of lakes, inlets, and streams wherever you go, but they are all untouched and unmotorized unlike the rest of MN; so no annoying city people everywhere. You are literally in the middle of nature, and you know it. You usually don't see another soul, or even signs of one, for the entire time you are there. If you get into a dangerous spot, then it is up to you to rescue yourself; so-to-speak. If you are hungry, it is up to you to catch your own dinner. If you are thirsty, it is up to you to purify your own water. It challenges the human spirit. That's why I like going out into the wilderness where all I have is my experience and wit to see me through. Living without a safety net is the best kind of living there is. :bigthumb:

I fucking HATE the mosquitos, but that's a trade-off depending on the time of year. ;)
