It was a newer stang with teh chrome stock rims.. so 2002-2003..possibly 2004?? i dunno.. it was manual.. on the way home from elmhurst, taking Butterfield was past the best buy area.. i am behind this stang turning right onto 56, and then we catch a light.. i ask him if his car is any fast ( i alawys ask ppl that) and he says.. "It's aiight" He was eitehr african american or an indian.. maybe both?? i dunno. So i told him.. At the light, and he nodded smiling.. i said "I got a full car with 5 people and subs" This is true, 3 males and 2 femals plus my 2 10"s.
I thought for sure he would nail me up top, because i know i can out launch him. Light hits green, i get my launch of course, he was about to my rear bumper all the way up to about 70mph, where then he started to fade a little bit.. everyone in the car was screaming really loud when i won, the girls kept yelling "OWNED" at the stang, and my friend sitting shotgun was yelling.. its only a V6!!!!

v6 Tiburon with Windshield banner and the Big ass lightning Decal on each side on the way home, I still had 5 people + subs in car, i am behind this Tib at a light, he goes kinda fast b/c he is kinda a young guy, so i pace him on the side once i switch lanes.. my friend is screaming.. " LETS GO!!" we keep egging him on, and he is a mid 20's guy with his GF. He lurches forward a little, and i hit the gas. SHIFT KIT_OWNED he heard my down shift and the SC whine then he let go of the gas... ALL in all like 2 seconds there. He kept saying lets go for money. So i said $20 (keep in mind this is while we are still going 35mph.) He said thats not enough to pay the ticket. He was reaching down in his car.. im like. "No nitrous, that is a cheap way to win in a street race." im not sure if he heard me. So we hit a red light, and we kept telling him to race and such. But he kept saying no because he didnt wanna bet $20... kinda confusing, but then again.. another ricer.
all in all.. good night. not even looking for races.. OWNED.
