3800 For those who download music....

I recently found out about the best website ever for downloading music.

No...its not free but it might as well be...lol let me explain.

You do have to pay to download the music. but it goes by files size not by song. currently there prices range from 1-2 cents per MB depending on the song. Most are 1 cent per MB.

ive been using Bittorrent (BT) to download music but the speed is insanely slow and im not one for waiting. I tried this place last night for the first time. I got 3 CD's and had them burned to disk in under a half hour. total cost of $2.84.
Alot better then the 2 days it might of took to download from BT even if its free.

other good points...

they accept paypal
you can listen to every song before downloading
they list the artists in alphabetical order
they also list the current top 40 cd's
they list the year the CD was released
you get to pick the file you want to download (IE: mp3, wma..etc)
you get to pick the quality (bitrate) of the songs (192k 384k)
they give you tips like...if you like these guys you might like this band..etc

theres other good points but these are what stands out for me. it so easy to find a song, cd, artist..etc. So far every CD ive looked for they have had.

Yea I read all that last night..basically the deal is.

its a russian based company..i guess their laws are different and they can basically pirate whatever they want....where as those of us living in the US might have a problem with pirated material...

Ohh well I guess ill wait and see if i get a huge bill in the mail before i stop..lol

You can setup paypal with your bank account and have the money automatically withdrawn. thats usually how I pay for stuff..just have paypal take it directly out of my bank account.

Do you have to use pay pal or is a credit card acceptable...I need to figure out my lap top....I think you can burn CD's on it.....I had nothing but trouble trying to sigh up with pay pal!

Question.....What format does my laptop have to be to record CD's and play them in my car? mp3?

Be carefull who you're giving your money to. The Russian mob is responsible for all the Paypal account hijacking. I would be real suspect of that site unless I heard from a major source that it was indeed legit.
