3800 finally broke my car in

well i went to us 41 today

when i got there it was little above 80 deg and stayed that way fro the whole day

the first pass was in my street trim

13.481 @ 102.73

then i went to the slicks and car ran consistant 13.1's at 102 mph

the last run was the best one

13.089 @ 102.73 with 1.81 sixty foot


the car had 2.8 pulley on it and 100 octane stock timing

1800 miles on the motor trans


not bad for 80 deg day with head wind

You must have some steep gears to be running that trap speed. I got a ride this weekend in a car with the same ET's as you, but traps 110. Needless to say, my car feels downright slow now. Can't imagine it's too easy to hook that thing up at this point.

the gears are 3.69 on hoosers at 16psi

it was first outing on slicks , still have to tune it and getr rid of 36# injectors (static)

next time i'll go with 2.7 pulley and maybe on a colder night
