3800 Plug Wires

Seems like most of you are going with the Taylor 8mm's. Is pfyc the best place to get them? Did for looking for them today and no one carrys them. Any suggestions for a better (also see cheaper!) wire?

i got taylor on my gt(well my bros now), never had a problem with them. you dont really need though. stock wires are fine. IF i was to get wires again, i would get the msd wires either 8 or 8.5. but again, they are NOT necessary if you want to go the cheap way. just some fyi

FYI all the INTENSE cars run stock wires.

As much as I love pauls wires...I cant see spending that much on another set when i can get stockers so cheap. when mine go ill be back to stock wires

not entirely correct, the bonneville and the turbo car do not use stock wires, they use stock coil packs, but not wires

I just took off my Taylor 8mm wires for the 5 or 6th time and one of the damn clips that grab onto the spark plugs ripped off, and there's no way of getting it back in.

I'm going back to stock, this sucks :-/

well most people who buy new plug wires dont really take them off 5 or 6 times... they put them on once and they are done with them... :lol:

which wire was it ? i need some spare taylor 8mm ... ill take then off our hands if you are not going to use them . are they red ? or do they come in other colors

They're red, but they're still working fine. It was the driver's side front cyl, I think #3 (I'm not sure, my coil packs are all rearranged). If I get rid of them, it'll be for like $10 since even the "broken" one works fine.

BTW, I took them off 5 or 6 times because of my cam, headers, 2 spark plug changes, testing cyl compression, and checking plugs again.

6 times isn't a lot :-/

i have PRJ's, best wires ever, i use no care at all when taking those things off, i just yank em off, and they never break

Love my PRJ wires, they just look so nice, and they've got my name all over them.

they are nice...but 100+ for basically an underhood appearance mod, is something I can't justify at the moment. I'd rather put that towards a hood or headers
