We were up at Steak and Shake last night on 159th and harlem. Were just sittin around BS'ing, and this dude with like an 02 Mustang GT with a cobra hood comes up and asks if anyone wants to run him, i tell him no but to go talk to these 2 guys i know. So first he was gonna race this one kid i know he's got an 01 Z28 with about 6 grand in suspension work, couple bolt on's and massive weight reductions (he ran a 11.4 last time at the track) But the kid in the GT rufuses to pop his hood, so they finally talk this GT into racing for 100$ but he goes over to look at the Z28 and he backs out because his reason was that my buddy had ET streets, and he was on stock tires. So were like ok, this other kid has an SS with a 200 shot and he had just drag radials, so the GT said he would race him instead, but the kid in the GT still refuses to pop his hood he said "it's broke" So that was it, nothing happened, to make a long story short, kid in GT asks people to race, refuses to pop hood, then backs out when he gets an offer. He said he wasn't scared of LS1's, but he didn't like ET streets. What a bitch

I had friends like that when I was 16. But I was always surrounded by bikers/mechanics most of my life so acting like that was out of the question. If you knew what was good for you..
Its always easier to go up to someone (especially when you dont know shit) and just say nice car.....Let them talk and you listen....But mommy and daddy usually finance what turns out to be a big pasifyer...Sometime its too bad it wont fit in there mouth.
Anyway,it paid of for me cause when I was 18 I had a supercharged 74 Z-28. I was a young punk but knew my place. This older guy(friend of the neighbors) with a rat in a Z-28 sold me a used pitted up old B&M for $200...Was at Dukes back in the day..

man ... you guys all have kinda cool places to hang out ... everyone around here eithers hangs out at a local car wash , or in this weak ass shopping center parking lot . most of the time its the fast & furious wanna be's and alot of bikes . its kinda crappy for me because most of my good friends are not into cars ... not fast cars anyways .... most are die hard fisherman and golfers ... i could care less to do either . unless there is beer involved ... :cheers: ... i guess thats why i have been contemplating selling my car ... i should just buy a beater sentra and get 30 mpg and call it a day.

[/b][/quote]If i go up there theres usally a group i hang out with that you can spot, cause they have like the rarest cars, theres a 02 white Z, 01 Silver Z with a small cowl hood, a sweet white SS, a 95 firehawk, another 02 Z but black with different rims (not sure what they are), a honda civic with a carbo fiber hood, sometimes my sliver GTP, and sometimes a blue Mach 1
I'm not really sure, my buddies are up there all the time, i usually go up there after i leave my g/f's house, around like 1am or so. It's a fun place to hang out but there are some people there who do some stupid ass stuff, but yeah man if you ever wanna give me a call and you wanna stop up there by all means that would be cool as hell, (708) 372-0057, probably get some races for you if you want.
