I changed the SC oil today and was surprised how dirty it looked. It only had about 12k miles on it. BTW, I change my SC oil about every 12k miles since I have a smaller pulley on and use it a lot. :)

I figure its cheaper for oil then a new snout.

Just a reminder to some of the newer members to do this about every 20-30k miles. Personally, I do it more cause with our smaller pullies, the SC RPMs are WAY MORE then stock.

BTW, does anybody have that list for how fast the SC spins for each Pulley size?
Its amazing how much faster then stock though.

That'd be interesting to know... do you mean the snout or the pieces inside the supercharger?

for snout x= crank pulley y=supercharger pulley (both diameter)
x/y = revolutions of supercharger pulley per revolution of crank pulley
multiply by engine speed (z)

z(x/y) = speed of s/c pulley in RPM

all you need is a syringe or however you spell it, and a allan socket. take out the plug that is facing you on the snout, put the turkey baster in the hole where the plug was and take out what you can. YOU WILL NOT GET ALL OF IT! put alot of rags underneath then snout. it is a mess. oh yeah, dont forget about nose plugs. THAT SHIT STINKS!!!!!

for the oil, or for them to change the oil. i think the oil was like $5-$10 for 2. i dont remember. for them to change the oil, you are prolly looking at like $10,000 or something stupid like that. if you dont want to do it, call nick on the 2-way(you know, your cub buddy), and let me know, i'll change it for you.

lol...dont take it to the dealer to change the supercharger oil.

remove the plug on the SC snout...suck the old oil out with a turkey baster..or what I used was the pump from a hand soap dispenser, add new oil, replace the plug

10 minutes and 16 bucks.

If you really want to waste your money..you can give me $50 and Ill do it and even buy the oil..hehe

Stacey, u might not have any oil left at 95k! Your oil is gunna be pitch black with not much in it.

BTW it is a 5 minute job. 2 bottles X $7.00 a piece. Pour both of these in. It will fill to exactly below the threads.

Oh, and use a soap dispenser pump like JOE said works great and you can get like 99% of the oil with that. Stick the tube in and start pumping like 100 times. DUmp it into a glass jar or something.

BTW, isnt the oil just animal fat? I though I read it somewhere.

Turkey baster is to big to get all the way down to the bottom.
