3800 Who did the l67 conversion into a GT???

12.8 was my last time I ran it... never got it to the track after the 2.6 pulley otherwise I think I could have squeezed a mid 12 out of it. I was having some problems with the trans right before I traded it in. I tried to part it out a few times, and tried to sell it as a whole for cheap, but no one was interested at the time.

Why have you seen it somewhere?

The TEP cam doesn't work too well with stock heads... which I had. I also had a big problem with the SC belt slipping even with the 2.8 pulley.... my boost never stayed consistant.

I eventually got around to getting a 8 rib set up to run a 2.6 pulley but never got a chance to run it.

12's are not that easy, look around at the rest of the club, it's hard to get these cars there. Most of the cars on clubgp that are running lower than high 12's have some kind of aftermarket poweradder (better M90, M115, MP115, or CSC/turbo) mine was stock with exception to some hand porting which I believe actually hurt the car. I even had stock exhaust piping on it... with exception to a cut out which I only ran once.

The others that don't have a different poweradder have their heads done, mine where stock. I am just about 100% sure if you through on a set of P&P heads, and a stage 4 SC, or Gen 5 SC that car would run 11's all day.

The tranny problem is simple just a $60 part, but takes dropping the trans to get to so I never got around to it.

From running a 16 flat when I got it to run a 12.8 I was conent, and maxed out with the money I wanted to spend on it. It just wasn't reliable anymore, or felt lke a daily driver.
