forget KBB... How much would you guys pay for my car, if you were looking for a GT?

2000 Silvermist GT 4 door
-29,4xx miles
-oil changes every 3,000
-some small scratches hardly noticable


mods.
performance: DHP, 3" DP, no res, no ubend, custom FWI.

appearence: Red vinyl, Clear corners, hi polished rims (stock),dual/dual fasttoys tips. Custom red painted dash, red/graphite wheelskins.

Has leather seats... no sunroof, no premium sound, no HUD, no DIC, no heated seats.

thats about all i can think of now.

I personally would demod it and sell it through carmax. THey usually have good deals selling them cars.

Would they buy it, even though i did custom stuff to it that cannot be replaced... such as the FWI, we had to cut away some metal from the inside of the fender, and I made home-made clear corners which look like crap up very close.

Yes I will!!! :lol: We will buy anything that is running. If its not something we can get back to factory specs we wholesale it off. Any mods you do don't help the price of the car (at carmax) so try to put it back to factory and sell the mod stuff off yourself.

Exactly. But some stock corners, or Trade even. See if you can get a stock DP and ubend and goto Jim and swap that out. Sell the DHP and get a stocker. Remove all the sterio stuff.

as others have mentioned... demod it ... unless you're selling to an enthusiast no one will care about the mods... you'll get more money by selling the stereo stuff and returning it to stock as much as possible...

then in that case, demod it- and put it in autotrader.

you could probobly fetch about 10k for it. if you cant sell it, take it to carmax after you demod it. youll probobly get 7-8k for it there because the mileage is extremely low.

so far im pretty hooked on john cacic (cacicgtp7)'s GTP

have a 1997 Black 2 Dr. GTP w/ 94,500 on it. Most miles are highway from iowa, and to Indiana to see my brother. I'm located in Wheaton, subs of chicago. Looking for 8200 with all the mods. Car has ALL options: HUD, leather, sunroof, ect. Has following extras:

Appearance:
Silverstars, Red GTP overlays, pontiac inlays, plate red overlays, HI-PO tq stars from a 2000gtp, red painted calipers. Inside has red neons under footwells, 20% tints.

Exhaust: All custom
custom ported manifolds, 3" dp, 2.5 pipe from ubend/res delete, summit super turbo mufflers, fast toy tips.

Sounds:
6X9 alpine S-types, 5.25 alpine s-types, Pioneer 4400 head unit, alpine ext amp for 6X9's.

Engine:
Thrasher intake, 3.25 press on pulley, 1.9 intense rockers, 180tstat, dhp, autolite 104s

-brakes are brand new, slotted/drilled rotors up front w/ hawk pads, rear has new rotors with wagner thermoquites. Tires have good tread left. All fluids have been changed within the last 10000 miles.

I went for a test drive yesterday, and this thing is amazing... such a huge step up from the l36
