3800 Car is sluggish.

Well i got my car back today, and i was pissed that they only fixed 2 of the 4 door panels that were falling off. I noticed that my car seemed sluggish. It would have a type of small delay when the gas was pushed, then the car would move. I floored it on an open road, and my fathers v6 camry feels faster that my car. This is extremely unusual because my car has never felt this slow.

my question is... is there any way a GT can get KR? (because it feels kinda like a GTP getting KR) But i didnt think i could get it from my mods, if a GT could ever get it.

None of the engine SES lights come on or anything, and the temperature on the guage was like in the middle, so the engine was warmed up.

any thoughts?

GTs can definatly get KR. (I have about 2-4 degrees last time I atapped myself)

My theory would be they unplugged the battery to work on your A/C, or something else and the PCM is relearning everything. This is just my theory though. I would maybe check to see if they didnt reflash you just in case.

could be the pcm learning from being disconnected. And yes a gt can get kr.

well i went out and tested the 40mph 3-1 shift and that still works, so they didnt takeaway / reflash my PCM. Although the car doesnt not pull as hard. I dont think they unplugged that battery, because usually when i unplug it, my CD deck speaker settings go back to default, but they are just the way i left them. So i am clueless what can be wrong :/

maybe your rental was so much faster then your gt that now your car feels slow.

dude, my previous car was a toyota solara with the 200hp V-6 and it wasn't that slow... i raced a GP GT and beat it by about half a car length. although i had catback exhaust and a CAI so i had a little extra juice.

I looked at the invoice this morning and it turns out that they did some other stuff that we didnt ask them too. But my mom, not thinking, just signed the invoice anyways.

They replaced the fuel filter... could that be the problem? I thought that the fuel filter had something to do with the DHP, and that is what the DHP resets last on the reprogramming.

hmm... what do i check for? and how do i know if it is bad? im a newb to spark plugs.

I dont think the fuel filter will be making your car sluggish. If anything it would help your car. I still say just wait a few days and see how it goes.
