Where are you putting all those gauges?

I can see 3 in the A pillar, possibly 2 in the Hud mount, leaving 6 gauges without a home.

I'm not sure if you just want to keep track of every little detail or if you are tetering on the brink of insanity.

The A/C delete means you completely removed the A/C, right? I think it would be pretty pointless to have A/C installed and not run it, since it doesnt really draw power at all when off. I'm assuming thats what you bought it for.

BTW, what are your bills like?

Removing the A/C is a bit of weight saving.

It's going to be legal as far as my gas cap and pcm tell them . My bills arnt as bad as I exspected. A/c is completly removed. The gauges goes as follows.....pillar a/f boost voltz...vents fuel press nos 2 water temp in out of the ic.....cubby hole oil press (trans/motor) and temp (trans/motor)....cluster 5inch spedo 5inch tach water temp and fuel level....cup holder hidded iccu. And yes with all that money invested i like to keep tabs on whats going on.

Like many others here, I can't wait to see the finished product. It would be driving me crazy too having the car down for so long. You know it will be worth it though. Keep us posted.

that will be sweet with the guages measuring the temp in and out of the IC......Id like to know those numbers too...

Trans is just a re-built one with better clutch packs and one more in 1st gear, a high stall converter and a quaife with a shift kit on med. Those pedals i got from PFYC.com

and about that GTP trunk mat. did you drill holes in the metal in the trunk? how did you be sure that when the holes were drilled, the drill didnt bang into the trunk lid causing indentions on the other side?

fastest time was a 13.0 w/o tuning ....long story. as far as the trunk mat goes drill slowly after the 1st break through stop or you will go throught the whole thing. I though thou that most were exsiting holes but i did this so long ago i dont remember.

Wrap some tape around the drill bit about a 7/16" down from the bit tip. This will keep the bit from penetrating too far.
