So I got my eyebrows done today but I couldn't get my nails done, uggg.

Took the car in for an estimate but still haven't received the estimate: the dude doesn't want to fix my hood except for the corner where its indented in... says it looks like hail damage on the center..well no shit more like stacey damage.

and thats about it for rite now hows ur days going guys?

They will only fix the dent in the corner instead of the whole hood? I'd try another place to see if they would fix the whole thing. Oh wait, I forgot the insurance isn't paying for this... hmm... We'll, at least take it to a few places to compare prices.

days been boring so far... too cold to work on the car... too wet to drive the car... spent about an hour working... which sux cause I'm supposed to be on forced vacation this week... oh well

I did my eyebrows today too! 1 swoop w/the razor and done

Going to a brew and view tonight though so should be fun (in downers grove) ... can smoke, drink and watch the movie! (not sure what movie though)

Well if the insurance co is paying for it, then you have a good leverage for negotiations with a body shop. Tell the body shop what the insurance co will pay for the stated damages. If they want to win your business, they will also have to fix the entire hood.

Go to enough body shops and one will agree with your stipulation. The body shop wants your business - because it's a sure thing that they will be payed. The body shop doesn't have to divulge that they repaired the entire hood to the insurance co.

Ahhhhh butterfly...... you must be gentle with the car!!!! NO MORE DENTS!!!!! By the way, still have the rims. Been busy traveling for interviews and all and haven't been home! One last interview hopefully in Dallas on Thursday. Hopefully by Monday I'll get an offer and I will be home free. Then it's back to modding my car again.

How's this for a day (or two). Monday, I found out I didn't get the new promotion to Lincolnshire, bye, bye big money! Further, a good friend of ours' mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Today, woke up at 5:30 by my wife with, "Honey, my car won't start!", fuel pump relay, AND!!! I go to the dentist with a slightly loose filling, it turns out I need a root canal. After insurance, it will cost us $800! No toys for the GS for a while.
