Just my opinion but I would think you would actually feel the rockers gain. I would go with them. I see a computer as only helping if you need it to support other mods, it isn't really a mod of it's own.... sort of like a IC, it works really well if you have other things that need it.
Im not saying this to upset any of you, but this is what I have noticed. Rockers are a clear mechanical gain.
It really depends on what you consider a mod, jared.
If you just want expanded daily driving ability, speed limiter removal, different shifting, skip shifting, fan optimization for a new t-stat, etc, then a pcm is definitely its own mod.
If you want a pure HP adder then the rockers probably are going to edge out the pcm in HP production. We only get 8 - 12 on a GT/L36 depending on the setup. Closer to 12 - 15 on a GTP based on mods, etc.
The 1.0 calibrations however, were not tuned with rockers in mind for either application.
Bottom line is that it will depend on the goal of the car. If you want brute power, rockers are better. [/b][/quote]
I really appreciate you insight, Charles, but I don't really consider a GT or a SE as a car worth modding, Charles.
Disclaimer,
Total joke..... not to be taken seriously
