3800 Can I turn the supercharger over?

I've got my motor apart right now fixing my gaskets finally, and found my 2 vacuum leaks


My question is can i turn the supecharger over to drain out the sc oil? It would be much easier and i'd be able to get more of it out.


I really odnt' think I could mess anything up, just wanna check before I go and do it.

yeah, i would think, cuz when they are shipped they are turned all directions, i dont think it could harm anything as long as everything is disconnected

yes you can.. that is what I did.
loosen the filler screw, turn the unit over and then remove the screw. I would suggest you have latex gloves if you do this. you DONT want that oil on your hands. The stink will not come off easily and it will smell like you have been picking your a$$.

I wish I would of wore gloves when I replaced mine, my hands smelled bad, my g/f was like what did you do to your car and i was like here, smell.
