Exact definition?

how can i tell if i do have one... just go to the track and see? there has been Factory freak Gt's as low as 15.3 That is anazing.

Factory Freak = car that performs significantly better than the norm... (and doesn't get beat by chevy blazers sorry had to throw that in hehe h34r: )

Best bet is to get some runs in...then compare the trap speeds (mph) w/other cars that have similar setups...

I thought i had a factory freak when I first started modding...

3.4, CAI and ubend gone gave me a 13.7

then again, the day was perfect for racing...havent been as lucky since then.

HHAHAHAA staceys a factory freak...well my last GP was a factory freak i could tell for sure after comparing power in my 02' GT...wait until you go to the track then you will see how fast it is!

Hey! Leave my car out of this! Some cars respond better to mods than others... you can take it a lot further if you are willing to push it a little. I have said before, I have had a 3.0" on my car for almost 5 years... I have never had any problems. ... but.. I did give it a shot and see. Other cars will puke with a 3.5" pulley!

My advise is try it... it if breaks... you know your car didn't respond well to those mods... but you have to keep in mind ... YOU PAY TO PLAY! I have a spare motor sitting here just in case So I am a little more willing to push it!

EDIT: My car may not have been born a factory freak... It ran 15.1xx's bone stock... it just responded very well to mods.

15.1 stock??? that is faster than a stock GTP that is not factory freakish... according to car-stats.com. (then again.. they just FLOOR it)

a stock gp shuold be 14.7-14.9 i believe.

i ran a 14.8 and didn't know how to launch....burnout city....LOL

I ran a 14.50 bone stock and there are plenty that even are lower.

Only way to tell if a GT is a factory freak is to run it. Im not sure about my car. I think I need someone else to run it cause I swear I should have a faster time.

Well, I'll never know if mine would have ever been a Facory Freak...... My GT has never even been down a track......... YET!!! :lol: That'll change this summer hopefully!
