Just installed my LCA crap last night. Absolutely sucked balls doing it with hand tools and short jack stands. Lesson learned for sure. The last couple pics show how jacked up my LCA geometry was since the car is lowered. Second to last pic is stock and you can see how the LCA angle is going the wrong way. Last pic is with the LCA's installed and they are now actually pointing the right way. Acceleration/traction from a dig is drastically improved. I didn't notice any N/V/H either. Maybe a slight rear end noise while decelerating and the engine brake takes over, but not enough to be able to tell 100% it is louder than stock. The most important part is my terrible wheel hop is 95% cured. Very Very slight hop at times, but barely noticeable.

Some like the rear, some don't. I enjoy it more than stock, but I think my issue is more with the tail lamp style. There is something just a bit off with it and i cant put my finger on it. Raxiom sells some pretty nice looking tail lamps and i will most likely switch to those. Some of the cars i have seen with this decklid and the raxiom tails look pretty sharp. Ultimately everyone has their own taste though. I usually dont mess with visual mods, so i am not sure what i like and dont yet.

Most of this requires thinking, which I am usually not allowed to do outside of work lol. The geometry of the stock stuff was just terrible and definitely laughable.

Just got done ordering my retrofit project through Lightwerkz. After doing a bunch of research, I realized there were too many ways for me to fuck this up and waste a bunch of money for what I am wanting to accomplish. I spent more than what I wanted, but I am hoping the end result and performance of the headlights will be worth it. These guys seem to have the best reputation and product out there, so we will see.

Project includes: new headlamps, FX-R projectors, iris shroud, 35w Morimoto d2s 5k HIDs with relay harness for the Mustang, and painting the shroud and stock reflector black. Should look killer when done. I will post up pics as I get some updates.

I got an update on the retrofit project here. The housing that they were ordering kept coming back with a smoked lens. We agreed that this would kill the light output and function so that would suck. After talking to them about a small hang-up they took it upon themselves to make everything right. The went above and beyond with apologies about how the project isn't done on time. They are great to communicate with in a professional manner and fessed up to their issues they were running in to. I am fully excited about the outcome of the project. they said as soon as they get the right lamps on board, they will put my project at highest priority on the list.

I see so many stock HID lighting with the LED strips on the mustangs. I am looking forward to getting something that is a one off custom light and will function way better than their led lighting projector BS set ups. and not be plastered over ever v6 model

I am PUMPED. Lightwerkz is treating me right. You guys should get your project set up through them soon.

I ended up installing my Lightwerkz retrofit yesterday. All I have to say is that these lights are baller as fuck. The craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail is second to none. These lights make the front of the car looking fucking sweet too. The gloss black paint they used looks great and was done very nicely. I took my time today and made sure everything worked before I installed it. I made sure I hid the relay harness really well. I could have hidden it entirely, but I enjoy the look of the Morimoto relay box, so I left that part in the open. The HID ballasts, relay harness, and wiring are quality pieces and look really nice and seem very well made. I took a bunch of pictures and videos so I will throw all that stuff up. I do need to get some good day time pics, but I didn't really have the time today. Unfortunately all I have right now is an iphone so the quality isn't the best and it definitely does not do the lights justice. These look so much better in person.

Overall these lights perform excellent. The stockers aren't even a worthy comparison. The beam patter on these is nice and wide and has a really crisp and colorful cut off line. The 5K bulbs work well. The actual light is pure white, but the pics don't really show that. It ultimately depends on what angle you are looking from as well. I was concerned that the signal bulbs would look yellowish because of the clear lenses on the new lamps, but the amber bulbs I bought work really well and look nice and orange just like they should. I didn't need to adjust the lamps much, but I got them dialed in so that I won't blind people in front of me but I still get a really good distance of light coverage down the road. The brights work really well, but I won't even need to use them since the low beams do such a good job. Overall I am very pleased with how things turned out. Well worth the money. Lightwerkz really did a great job and impressed the shit out of me. If anyone is thinking about a retrofit that they would rather pay for than do themselves, Lightwerkz is without a doubt the place to go to. Let me know what you guys think!
