so the konis and stock springs are ok then. it wont drop the car at all right, it would just give me better handling.
u probably wont be handling to much, because the turning radius of the car with 20's is probably goona be like a ¼ mile!! :p actually rims that are TOO big for a particular car give you worse handling than with the stock rims and tires...

i just got some new rims(20's), and i was wondering if i could get some koni's and putting them on with the stock springs so the car wont drop. can i do this. has anybody tried this before.
im sure you can...ive got the GMPP springs (1 inch drop on my car) on my stock struts.. ;) with the anti-pogo washers (as i call them) on the front.

I would get the struts just for the purpose of being able to have people in your back seat. i have seen a few 20's on different GTP's and they fit well. Most overall height between rim size and tire comparison come out to be around the same. It is not the height of rim that matters, it is the height of the tire

i didnt think so either. i know they handle better, but i was a little worried if i would be defeating the purpose by buying high dollar struts and then throwing some POS stock springs on. the spring is what lowers the car, but i was maybe thinking if there would be a problem with aftermarket stuff with stock stuff.
