Becky I though you replaced the Alternator already? Why are you draining the battery now?

I did replace the damn alternator....and the damn battery...I finally got the battery put back in tonight when my dad brought it home from work...he took it there to charge it back up...well here's what happened:

Car worked fine all day Monday....I start it up tuesday morning before my first day of work to warm it up...go back back upstairs into my apartment and come out five minutes later and its not running. I try starting it....doesnt work. wait a few and try again...doesnt work. Had my dad take the battery in to charge it on Wednsday, but it was too damn cold to put it in yesterday...and my dad wouldn't do it. So i put it back in tonight and it started right up....I let it run for a while then i turned on everything i could to see if the volts drained like they did before and they seemed ok. However, I'm scared to drive anywhere because if it dies again, in the snow, at night, on Ogden Ave, I think i'd call a tow truck and tell them to scrap it.
So, I'm waiting until tomorrow to drive anywhere....and to make sure it still starts in the morning. If it doesn't then I know there's something else draining all the power besides a faulty alternator, bad battery, or crossed wires( I say that because when i reattached the starter and battery wires to the alternator, I put them on in reverse order and had to go back out there tonight and re-do it right.)
So, that's why I didn't come over tonight...to SnM and Denise...did't want to die on 355.
