which cam would be best with the mods listed below? Thanks for your help, the info and data is confusing, especially when you're not sure what they're talking about. Is a torque converter necessary? What does it do exactly? Thanks
Cam 1
- Duration at .050 = 201 degree intake/205 degree exhaust
- Intake Lift = .312 (.496 lift with stock 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
- Exhaust Lift = .300 (.480 lift with stock 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
- Lobe Separation = 112.0
Cam 2
duration @ .050": 212º/216º, lobe lifts: .327"/.321", valve lifts with 1.60:1 rocker arms: .523"/.514", lobe separation angle: 113º, intake centerline: 109º
Cam 3
216°/216° at .050"
Intake Lift .317" (.507" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
Exhaust Lift .317" (.507" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
111 Lobe Separation
They all look similiar, but they are all different. Do I need better pushrods, I know the springs are a must, but are the rods as well? Who do you recomend those from? Thanks...sorry for so many questions.
