Dude, I'm always right! J/K, maybe it's the Maf thing? I'm sure everyone has been poking in on the thread going on clubgp about the FWI setups. I'm going to change mine soon so it doesn't have the 90 degree bend into the fender. It's going to be a hybrid CAI/FWI combo, a box has to be fabricated to house the filter, but I'm sticking with a 3.5" tube. Mostly for packaging constraints. I've got a ID of 3.5 on my K&N so it doesn't make much sense to me going fron 3.5 to 4 to 3.5". I may do the filter backwards in the box, so the open portion the TB draws from acts as a manifold to reduce turbulence. The info from ZZP is nice, but a close inspection of the inlet on the M90 will expose some serious bends and curvatures that absolutely kill flow. So you can only do so much with the front end of the system to where it becomes unpractical to tweak it too much. I wish that someone had some idea of how much meat can be taken out of that area for reshaping the SC intake tract.
