I never really got into those sites (started with www.f-bodytech.com then they created gmvsford.com , or at least one of the mods did)... then to top it off I was spammed several times talking about the updates or that they need more people on gmvsford etc...

I don't tolerate spam (while technically it wasn't spam because I did sign up for the board, I didn't appreciate getting several emails about the same thing saying people should come check out the site) so I never did and never will sign up for it

Besides I get all my techie info from ls1tech.com and if I wanna see any trash talking I just go to chitownracing.com (though I rarely visit that site either)

Basicaly, if you post OFF TOPIC in any thread (especially other then AAG), you are breaking the rules of the forum. Do "other people" deserve to be banned? Probably.... do I read EVERY post? No.... I read those that I read, and address them. Others (and quite a few good regulars help in this regard) send the Mods links to posts that don't belong, and those get dealt with.

What this boils down to (in THIS case) is people decided that being a smart ass posting off topic is "cool". It's not about your true opinion on something, it's about being an ass and destroying threads.

ClubGP wasnt always as crazy as it is now... It used to be... sorta... like this site! A place to share, hangout, get help, and get good deals from people that sold there stuff. ClubGP just got so big (nothing wrong with that) that it's out of control - for lack of a better description.

I've meet Mike N. numerous times. He seems like a good guy...

There will be a point when this site will grow too big as well...

Now www.nasioc.com !! Man, what a zoo!!! Zoo meaning the place is so big, that its hard to walk around and do anything. They've got so many forums it would make your head spin. Seems like a nice crowd though. I visit there once in a while - being I own a (sneezee - crap 2.5) Subaru.

no reason was given, other than what we talked about, which was pretty much explaining how what i did was nothing compared to others in the club that have done worse and not been banned
