3800 MOD DAY AT LP'Z SHOP

My GP is a dark forest green. I have 2 Rockford Fosgate Stickers on my back windows. I see alot of gps around here I'm sure I've seen you guys. I think zeez gtp and I might hook up sometime tonight. I gotta work from like 5-9 so it'd have to before or after that.

I finally got the nerve to order my RT downpipe and ZZP Ported manifolds, and sure could use some help.

This is of course if I get the parts even before the mod day...

Does anyone know what else I would need beforehand to make sure the install goes flawless?

I've never done a rear one, but I'm sure people there have.

I actually got the RT Downpipe w/cat , and I believe in the picture it shows a pre-made spot for the O2 sensor...

Thought that since the downpipe will be off the car, might as well get the ported mani's also..since there will be more room to work in the back of the car...

Was that post for me in terms of which gaskets to purchase? The RT Downpipe I got has the 3" outlet/3" inlet. Would I hafta go to the Pontiac dealer to get the gaskets? Or could I hit up an Autozone...Would I need anything in terms of gaskets for the ported manifold install?

I have had trouble finding the gaskets at a store. Try an exhaust shop or hit up the dealer.

looking good for me and the wifey!
I have a crapload of things to do. just not sure if I can do them all or will be able to do them.
I have to replace the half shafts, replace the steering rack, replace all the exhaust gaskets, reseal the supercooler, put in the new radiator, change out the tstat.... I would LOVE to be able to put the cam in but that prolly wont happen doubt the steering rack will happen either. really need a lift for that
there were a few other things I need to do to but cant remember right now...

Ya it does sound like a lot of cars will be there. Stacey, I need to pick up some oil for my supercharger as well. I am changing out my snout to a shaved one I think they are like $7 each and you need 2 of them. Let me know if you want me to get that for you.
I also have a new guy coming who will probably join the club. He is stock now, but wants to snap on his GTP. Should be a good time.
There is a hotel about 5 minutes away and it costs like $60 I think. It is brand new. I can always find a spot for someone who has been drinking. Whatever I can do to help out, I am sure it will be good enough. So don't worry about that.

BTW, any update on if there will be a welder there? I might have my headers and hi-flow cat with me, but someone needs to weld it or do something to connect it to the stock cat-back. I dont think 200mph tape will hold over 1000 degrees.

I doubt that there will be a welder there. (dont quote me though.) Everyone else goes to exhaust shops to get their headers welded.
