Well, in the case of the Cobra, it is titled as a 1995 Buick Roadster (year it was built, make of the engine, and body style). The insurance company has it down as a 1995 Buick Roadmaster! Insurance is like $157.00 / year!! But, we also have additional coverage on it. A stated value insurance. We had it appraised for xx amount and if you file a claim, they pay you xx amount and keep the car This new one should be interesting. All kit cars get issued VIN numbers from the SOS. This new one should be fun!!!!

That car is bad ass.... If I am not mistaken kit cars dont come with anything other than the body.. but maybe Im wrong. I just figured you would throw in whatever you want to in it.

I thought it said the kit would be like $25k, and complete would be 40 or so? Not sure, didn't take a deep look into it.

what they give you is everything, but the drivetrane and suspension. Those compnonets come from a c5 corvette.

I would put a used viper motor though if i could find one for around the same price as LS1. (the LS1 is in the vette right???)

yup... C5 vette (97-03) and 98-02 V8 F-Body's had the LS1, Z06 vette has the LS6 ... and I believe the C6 is getting the LS2

Probably be better off going w/an LS1 or LT1 motor than the Viper motor... more common, probably a ton easier to get performance and normal parts for it too
