3800 Relocating Coolant Bottle

tonight i was going to relocate the coolant bottle to the side of the strut tower, since i have a 98 and they put it right where a aftermarket cai would go. anyway i attempted to relocate it, but i have no way of securing the bottom of the bottle to the car. theres a hole there to put a bolt into, but i cant reach around to the otherside of the bolt to put the nut on it. would anybody be able to help me mount the coolant bottle on the strut tower? if we could meetup either tomorrow around 4-5pm, or on saturday after 12pm that would be great.

i had the same problem, till we were in ohio and i saw how chris green mounted his, put a zip tie around the neck of the bottle, then pull off the vacuum line that is clipped on top of the strut tower, put the zip tie over that prong, then replace the vacuum line on top. i have been runnin it like that since september with no problem at all

I used the hood liner clips. Those black plastic round things that hold your hood liner up. I went to the auto-parts store and bought two of them. It's been like that for over two years with no problems at all.

I fabricated a metal bracket to hold the buttom of the bottle. Painted the bracket red to match the factory engine bay interior for a factory look. I then used two self tapping screws to hold the top. B) Man, that was years ago when I did that... brings back memories of the old modding days when there were really no performance parts for the GTP yet.
