Here is 10 MINUTES worth of info from my firewall from today. Granted ICMP requests are no big deal but read through. RPC Mapper is a virus and SubSeven is a network attack. I agree with Alex and ThaLord, harware firewalls are the BEST to use. No overhead and nice logs. There are some firewalls that you can use that are very inexpensive and highly reliable.
