Question about Nextels.

Do they have any good plans? How is there coverage? Good signals inside of buildings?

My contract is up in August, (with SprintPCS) and I don't know if I want to stay with Sprint.

signals are ok, plans are good, I have free incoming calls, unlimited 2ways, free night and weekends, web, and insurance and I might be forgeting something but i'm paying around $84 amonth. Also what might come out pricey would be the phone, but i like my nextel.

700minutes a month, free nights/weekends, unlimited internet, plus $15 in free downloads/month. free sprint to sprint.


$40/month.


sprint retention plans are sweet.

My verizon is excellent. They are rated in almost over major market as THE BEST provider for customer service, coverage, plan value, etc....

Mine is 40 a month for 500 anytime, ulimetied night and weekends.

Paying 86 bucks a month for a phone id nutz.


Id recomend verizon any day of the week. Excellent company and have never really lost any calls, unless my battery is low.

Didn't verizon used to be ameritech, I hatec them back in the day they sucked, then I had PrimeCo, they sucked, then I had AT&T and they suck majorly! the worst.

I have nextel and I love it. I rarely ever get dropped calls.. and i love the direct connect!!!! And I love my case that matches my car!

I have 500 anytime minutes, 2000 might and weekend and 2500 direct connect minutes for $39.99 and the phone i90c was only $49.99 after rebate... amazon.com has the best deals!!!!

Plus now sprint phones also go beep beep so screw nextel. They want way too much money for their plans.

nextel is not the expensive, unless i guess you want something with unlimitd minutes and such... my plan rocks for the same price as what i was paying for at AT&T I got 4 times as many minutes.... and my phone was a 1/3 less money then my crappy Nokia.

but each to their own I guess.

I've got Cingular... which is Crapular... but that's another story.

I was talking to one of the sales people at the office I bought my phones from and they said the GSM system can support a lot of features like some of the other companies. It's just a matter of time, money and demand for them to upgrade.

I have sprint for about two years and they've been pretty good. I was at the sprint store yesterday and they now have a phone with the Two-Way Technology and one of the phones has a 15sec Movie Mode video its the Sanyo VM-4500 color Ready built camera phone. Its sweet. oh yeah with the employee discount I pay 40.00 for 800 anytime minutes and thats more than enough for me. Just my .02
