I'm 95+% sure you can't do that directly through a network. But you can remote desktop/live desktop it so you see the other computer's screen, and play the dvd on the other computer, and watch it on both computers. Only other way is to direct connect it to your computer...or use a cable to connect your dvd computer's video card (S-Video) to a TV, or another computer and watch both screens be the same.


As for remotely using/controlling a DVD player from another computer over a network/LAN, and only seeing it on another computer, isnt possible to my knowledge.
