Ok, my mods this winter and best ET:

1. Remove converter and up the stall from 2600 to 3300 stall improving 60ft times.
2. Remove 19" big meats from front and install some Racestar skinnies.

First ET = 10.4

3. Selling V3 SI blower and upgrading to V7 JT.

Final ET = 9.9 LOL may get that award.

Anybody who has a set of 15" Racestars for sale I'm interested.

Save your money and buy a 5.0. Cars are damn impressive with a few bolt ons.

Thats a pretty damn good plan.

I've got a not on my Jeep, so that wasn't going to happen.

Because of said note on Jeep, I went with the less expensive and slower Mustang. :(

I'm just starting out with my car so it's the basics for now. I just did pads and rotors, also getting new tires on Saturday. I picked up a CAI from another forum for a very reasonable price. I should also be picking up a set of Roush louvers this Friday. What can I say, its a start!

:typer:phishaw, make no excuses for your 3v purchase, I didn't see any new 5.0 flippin any 3v's at track day.

Buy a new 5.0 and your gonna get beat at the track. Almost every one of those 5.0 guys have payments and don’t want wreck dare shit, or they don’t want to modify cause they worry over the warranty. Screw that, it’s about modifying your car and racing, having a good time and enjoying your shit today. Or, you can make posts on the forums for the next 5 years till your payments are finished and talk about how fast your 5.0 would go if you just added a few bolt-on’s .

This is why those 3800 shitheads are having a good time and laughing dare asses off, sum a bitches should be buying the beer all the time cause they can afford it.

Go on S197 forum. There are a ton of boosted Coyotes. The new 5.0's love boost and make faily big HP on the stock block. The painful truth for us 3V guys is that a bolt on 5.0 is just as quick as a power adder 3V. It sucks, but Ford has progressed and the Coyote is one bad motor.

Won't argue that the new motor is better, that's a given.

I'm on the S197 forum, a national forum with many members and some shit money and pay cash for the new car purchase, then throw more cash with bolt-ons. But reality is the norm and the common 5.0 owner's are not able to throw that kinda cash around. This is the Chicago Garage not 90210.

Been to Byron and GLD many times this year, sure you may see a couple blown/turbo 5.0's now and then, but how many did you see at TCG or CMC track days.

The point is you can go just as fast if not faster with much less money. Just bolt that twin turbo in thats for sale here on the forum, I think he wants 6k and you will go as fast as any 5.0 with bolt-ons.

That it is no offense lol

It's a straight up dog through the first 1/8. And it's not like I am a noob cutting 2.0 60's. I usually cut 60's in the 1.7X range. I want to get it on the dyno to see if it's actually making the power it should be. But to be honest, my struggles seem to be about on par with other guys on S197forum.

That's pretty much where I'm at. To be quite honest, I really don't care about having the fastest car. My day's of going to the track are over. In my early 20's I pretty much spent every other weekend at Union Grove. I also remember seeing brand new FOX Mustangs at the dealership! I just want to take the car out on nice days bang the gears a little bit and have some fun. ;)

but Ford has progressed and the Coyote is one bad motor.

Its all driver. Baby:jg:

let the smack begin

You actually have a real nice build here, the only thing that would keep you from going much faster would be a stock block. If you are running a 9.8:1 compression that E85 should help keep you from any tip in dentonation that a turbo can cause with that comp ratio on your 3v, but 500rwhp would be the upper limit.

Again nice build I think your on the mark with your times.:toast:
