disclaimer, i am not really an expert on anything... these are just my own biased views.

anyways.

Rented a 2012 300C for the weekend to drive to Minnesota to see my sister graduate.

Quite simply, this thing is fucking awesome.

I have averaged 26.8 mpg and that has included me getting on it a few times, as well as cruise set at 78-80 mph. The car get's it pretty well from any speed and is just dead silent when cruising- like a big ol caddy- but better. It is fun, but still comfy enough and the car pulls from any speed just awesome like I said. Hammer it at any speed and it downshifts what feels like every gear, the nose lifts, and you are moving out pretty well. From what I have read/seen for magazine reviews- low 14's/high 13s happen for this 363hp behemoth.

Between my 2006 srt8 300c that i had and this one, this one isn't really a direct comparison, but on the interior alone, this new one is fucking awesome.

Biggest place to start- quite easily- the chyrsler touchscreen navigation/media center. holy fuck this thing is awesome and 11teen billion times better than myfordtouch. i have probably 15 hours behind myfordtouch, and a solid 4-5 behind this uconnect system, and the uconnect blows away the horrible navigating myfordtouch.

The gauges/driver information center are awesome to look at and easy to navigate through the steering wheel controls...

the uconnect is simple, and makes so much more sense to navigate through than anything i have used... it connects via bluetooth quickly and easily with no real fuss and just works. the navigation is just as easy to navigate and use--- and it is quick as hell. THe biggest thing is that it is easily navigable and you don't need to study a users manual for days on end to figure it out.

The interior is awesome like I said before... heated/cooled seats are super comfy and I fit awesome in this car, which happens not too often since I am 6'5 and 215lbs... it also has a heated steering wheel... usb/audio jacks in the center console that are backlit so you can see em.

if i had the dollars and was looking for something along the lines of a 4 door beast of a car that got decent mileage... this would be in my driveway ahead of many other offerings.

Yup, the 8.4 system isn't just better than My Ford Touch, but way more pleasant to use than multimedia systems in BMWs and Mercedes too. It's really good and super intuitive.

:werd: it is so fucking awesome. and this car has the entry level stereo as well... i cant imagine the "beats" one or the 19 speaker premium stereo- cuz even this one is damn good. (most everytihng says alpine on it. )
8 speed auto?

nope pretty sure those aren't in the hemi's yet... but the 5 speed auto is in this one- it just feels like it knows what to do a shit ton better than my car did.

What company did you rent a 300C Hemi from?

Enterprise. brand new 212 miles when i got it.
I've been eyeing a 2012 300S.

those are sick.

and the dash that i love a lot.

I wish I could think of something.

that it isn't mine?

I rented a new cts a few months back that i drove a bunch and honestly I would take this 300c days, months, years, before I would even consider that cts.

between the cts and this thing, this has more power, gets better actual gas mileage, i fit better, i like th interior more. etc etc. i know they aren't really a direct competitor... but they are probably about the same price?

this car has all the right power at the right times, it floats like you are on a cloud... i can't say enough awesome things about it.

Selling homes on the Gulf Coast of Florida
Apples to Oranges unless you compare the Chrysler 300C to the Caddy CTSV. If you compare top of the line models, the CTSV, although a lot more money, is a lot more car.

As you guys get older and test out some of the luxo barges (can you even call them that anymore?), you will see that many of these cars are quick, handle well and most of all are incredibly comfortable to ride in. Sports cars are great but they are designed for speed and their ergonomics don't compare to a big, comfy, powerful cruiser. Sports cars for fun, 300C type of car for DD.

I put 820 miles total on this thing in 3 and a half days...

I tried to come up with something I hated about it... main thing that I could put my finger on, is the material of the dash is lame. its that grainy-textured plastic shit... not that cool.

and yesterday i discovered the heated/cooled cupholders which are badass as fuck. get super hot or super cold.
