I like the 2011 GT look better. The new GT500 inspired front end is too much for me. Almost like a "import" body kit on the Mustang. It isn't ugly. But does not have the classic look to it.

I guess I should look into when they will stop building the 2011 GT just in case I need to order one before then. ugh

True. I love the front end of my car but I love the gaping mouth-likes00ls grill of the GT500s. Looks meaner than the front I have on my car but mine does still lok mean without the badge.

Agreed but I still like the 05-09 better than both. It sucks that ford keeps making the mustang a better performer but yet it keeps getting uglier. It's like the 4th gens all over again.

The 2010/2011 have really grown on me. I like the classic styling of the 05-09. But much like the 1964 1/2 Mustang, people said it was a 'secretaries car'. It was a little soft in styling. That is why they went to Shelby to change that image. Then did a face lift in 1967. I feel the 05-09 versus the 10-11 is the same thing. Started too soft even though it was very true to the original cars. The 10/11 GT has a more aggressive look while keeping the classic look intact. The GT500, and now 2013 GT & GT500, have a more aftermarket approach to the design. To me at least.

I think losing the fog lights, like with carter's car, makes a huge difference. I still think the rear ends have been terrible since 2010 when they took a file to the corners.

I'm not too fond of the foglights in the grill but it does keep up with the old-school styling they're trying to achieve. Fascia fog lights are better looking, IMO.

I want to drive this thing so bad! My uncle's boss has a 08 gt500 KR. Once I smoked him in my Evo, he went and sent the car to Shelby for the whipple upgrade.

I bet he will be pissed to see these new ones, since he just got the car back 3 months ago haha

SERIOUSLY considered it while shopping for my GT, but the extra 15+ Grand I would have had to pay just isn't worth it, as much as I love them...

I purchased my car specifically because it filled all my criteria AND it will hold its resale well. On the same note the 07-09 Cobras have more or less hit their price 'plateau'

The only people making rational posts don't own a 5th gen. There's no helping those people, Al Oppenheiser (Chief Camaro Engineer) is spewing shit and they are eating it up. It's like the human centipede of the auto world. The ZL1 doesn't have to worry about getting beat by a GT500 because the owners won't take them on a track.

It will still be fun to watch the Z06 buttfuck the almighty GT500.

I sat in the one at the Autoshow, and it felt like the EXACT same car as mine (besides the seats). I know its the same platform, but would expect to feel like im sitting in a car thats prob 4-5x as expensive as mine.

The dash is totally different plus upgraded materials. It's a noticeable difference.
