Thanks again everyone who came out. The cruise was a bit of a clusterfuck but once we got going it was a good time. I am thankfull the Brat Stop was able to seat all of us even though they had no idea we were coming. :ugh: I was talking to a manager via email for a few months all the way up to a few days before the event, but the people working that day did not know nothing about our group. I hope the service was ok for everyone. We were supposed to get a "party room".

As far as the IL guys being late for the meet, sorry about that. I got to whole foods and the place was packed, no room to park a group of cars. I text everyone I had a number for that was attending then posted on this thread we will be at the alternate meeting spot at Hooters/Fridays. I am very sorry if you waited at Whole Foods and didnt find us.

We waited at the alternate parking spot for probably a hour because like always people are late, even ones that live so close. I will never understand this. We also had a issue with a car that had to be fixed. We left at about 2:00.

Naturally everyone got seperated into 3-4 groups rather quickly. I know its hard to drive in a group and also hard to print out of map of where we are going. We stopped 3 times to try and get everyone back together. Also had another issue with a car. We finally got up to brat stop around 4:00.

We had a good time inside the brat stop and they always have good food.

After dinner someone had the crazy idea to race Rich and Jamies cars in the parking lot. 96 Lumina (na) vs 07 GP (na) the slowest cars around. Now normally I would not be fond of this kinda shit and would ban these fools, but I figured two cars that couldnt even break lose the tires racing 0-35 couldnt hurt anything in a HUGE parking lot. So Rich had a bit to much of F&F in his brain so he didnt really stop as soon he should have. Brakes locked up and he busted a brake line. But he did with the race, and James won $3 from us.

Thanks again everyone who came out. Will have another one in the spring. Just no cruise with a ton of people.

Thanks for putting this together Panda. I did have fun even though, like you said, the cruise was kind of a cluster. I tried to stay with the front of the group (should have printed a map, but don't have a printer) to see where we were going and also hang back far enough so the people behind me could also see where we were going. At least everyone made it there ok despite getting caught at lights and other issues.
Also when we got there they seemed pretty surprised that we were coming, but luckily we got the whole upstairs to ourselves and the service was very quick.
And Panda if you want to do another cruise next year I have ideas on places we can meet up near Naperville/Aurora and some routes a little west of here where we can all stay together and not worry about traffic lights or cops. There are also some good resturants out there. Just let me know.
