Google based navigation on the Droid is just unfuckwithable, speech to text, turn by turn voice directions, google street view, is just too good. Hell it was better then my stand-alone navigation unit.

Real men don't need directions. You're describing the perfect phone.....for a woman.

I deliver pizzas as a second job, in a fairly dense residential area. I don't get lost, but find some random small street that doesn't show up on maps you kind of need a decent GPS. Google Navigation usually gives the best route, plus when i deliver during rush hour accounts for and avoids real-time traffic.

Give me your address. I'll show you how detailed iPhones get.

The iMessage thing is for all iOS devices. Not just iphone. So say you are on your iphone, and I am on an iPad, we can still message each other if I dont have my phone close to me, all while your messages are being pushed to both devices.

So far, I dont see a quick reply, which really blows. I know bitesms and another sms program in cydia allows quick replys. Thats the only thing I really want Apple to do now. Then I will never jailbreak my phone. Although, I probably wont JB it now since its not a huge deal breaker.

I installed it on my ip4. I like it overall, but like you mentioned...would have been great with Quick Reply. I always used a quick reply app from Cydia. But I would still JB for a few other things as well. Having the option to restart the Springboard is nice and better than needing to reboot the phone as well. Small things here and there that APPLE should have included since day one.

Absolutely. I dont know if android phones have quick replys either. Maybe we should ask. :hs:

I still stand firm though. With each version if iOS, it makes me want to jailbreak my phone less and less.

My biggest pet peeve about it is the fact that when you want to listen to all songs under an artist that has more then one album it sorts them in alphabetical order...who the fuck wants that?

My 3rd gen iPod plays them in album then track order like the iPhone should be.

Pardon the ignorance, but what exactly is quick reply?

Basically you can be in ANY app and when somebody sends a text message, a little box pops up where you can either ignore it, reply, or open up the text message in the actual messaging app.

With the iphone, when you get a text, it'll go to the messaging app and close the current app to do so. When my phone was jailbroken, I had a quick reply app that would allow me to quickly reply to a text in any app or on the homescreen. (also the lockscreen).

I use the Otterbox case. It may make the phone a bit bulkier, but at least it saves my phone from drops as high as 6 feet without any problems. You have no idea how many times I've dropped my phone.

I originally bought the Otterbox and hated how big the phone became, I got a Incipio hard plastic and rubber case. Much sleeker, and still decent protection from falls.

I know what you mean. But it has saved me from a lot of drops. There's another case that can sustain drops from a few feet higher without damaging the phone, but the case ends up coming at about $80.

This. So say you are playing angry birds, and you get a text. Instead of switching programs to the text app, you get a little box and keyboard to reply. Then you push send and it disappears, leaving angry birds playing. Also works on the lock screen as well. So you dont need to unlock your phone to reply to messages.
