So you do not want to pay up front to have the best tuner in the area/possibly the country send you a mail order tune, and then have him refund you the money or take it off of his dyno tune price when you take your car in?

Please do not go with another tuner just because you are anxious.

Sucks b/c someone ripped Tim off.

Tim and Kurgan would be my 1st choices since I have used them both for tunes in the past.

Lund is well known as a few mentioned and feel he would be a good choice as well. I worked with him on a 2011 KB GT500 car before I left Speed.

I have nothing against Post, but have never used him personally.

The more time I spend on the mustang forums, and talking to actual mustang guys, I hear more and more bad things about Kurgan's people skills :(

They are all like that. Everyone loved Tim at first too. I have heard several people waiting for replies on emails, tunes, call backs and such. It happens as the good people are always busy. I know Tim is loving it up here as he is tuning more cars than he ever did before. And he is having some great opportunities offered to him as well. But when you come down to it there is only so many hours in the day to deal with all the customers. No matter how they try they will fall short. Now factor you have MANY people every day that are tire kickers taking away the time they could use to contact existing and legit customers.

And remember, you will hear 100 times more complaints than praise. Just the way people are.

i wasnt at all talking bad about tim. i guess i was just used to the quick replies of the 3800 community....which is infinitely smaller.

im excited for next week.

I was not even really commenting on you. I quoted for a reason. haha Just stating that the good people have way more work than they can handle. It is because everyone wants to use them. Because they are good at what they do! haha

But my offer still stands!

He might not hold your hand and be your buddy but he really isn't bad. He gets his shit done and takes care of your car. When I was getting a tune done by him I accidently hooked up the boostapump wrong. Instead just kicking it to the curb and having me drive from lagrange to rockford....again to fix it. I told him to go ahead and rewire it....well it was a whopping 50 bucks to have him fix my fark up.....well worth it.

Again he isn't the nicest person, but as people have said he has alot shit to do and I would gladly go back to him again if need be....

i will admit i am an asshole... it happens when you get burned time and time again.. You build "thick skin".. I have never been known for my people skills, but i will do my absolute fucking best on your car, that i promise you.. so, if you are looking for a friend, im not your guy.. if you're looking for someone to treat your car like its their own and take their job seriously, im your man.

Just ask pratt how many times i have gone to the track with him or answered a call from him at midnight. I spent so many hours at the track with my customers FOR FREE.. heck, i was paying for my entry and my food too.. I love drag racing, i dont love some PITA customers though LOL

I have always seen you as an o.k guy and friend, but will agree you come off as an a$$hole sometimes..o.k a lot of times. LOL

I will back the man on all his free time off the dyno with customers at the track getting combo's to work.

so all in all you are an asshole who loves to race and gives his all when tuning a car or helping at the track.. seems o.k to me :)
