Doesn't take a lot of smarts to see that the ZL1 will be handicapped compared to the GT500.

I like Fords a lot, but wouldn't mind a C6 Z06 or CTS-V. The 5th Camaro on the other hand is a turd IMO. Ford might be losing the sales battle, but they've clearly become the performance leader.

I think due to the fact that it's summer time and the convertible is still relatively new has a lot to do with Camaro sales staying up. Whether you like GM or not you have to admit they have marketed the Camaro perfectly. They keep offering new fresh options in a perfect time line to keep interest up. Once the ZL1 is out and not the next big thing I would imagine a Z28 will be coming out. Maybe a TT V6.

I've been suprised by the new Camaro's sales. I thought they would diminish after a while. Ford aint selling many Mustangs though. Ford sold 160,000 Stangs in 2005.
