vague question (sorry about this), but how bad does the charging part actually suck? it'll tow 4-6 times without dying right?
You can drive it around all day at the track, tow the car back numerous times, etc before a charge. If your operation is large enough you need a golf cart, I'm assuming you have a generator. You can throw it on the charger mid-day if it's starting to get low, just put a volt meter in the thing if it doesn't already have one.
Figure that the things can do 18 holes 4-5 times/day on a single charge...
The only downsides to electric is charging and having to replace the batteries every 4-5 years. Other than that, you'll have much more torque than gas, immediately, without a belt drive to mess with.
