map issues?

So I am trying to post up a map but its just putting the link to google maps up. What am I doing wrong?

Pretty sure all you have to do is put the address in between the map tags.

[ map] address here [/ map]

But with no spaces in the tags. I just included the spaces for demonstrative purposes.
