While the last few Transformer movies have been flops, have they been somewhat profitable? I can't imagine they'd continue to produce these films without a chance of making money.
Because some exec had a few bucks of pocket change and Michael Bay had a spare afternoon. Chances are the cloud at whoever is animating this also had some free CPU cycles.
are there filmmakers any more or are movie studios just interested in milking legacy film and franchises for all they're worth, making garbage totally unrecognizable from its original source?
On the other hand, shorter form programming quality has gone through the roof. Ala netflix and mini series type stuff.
Wow when I was growing up, transformers were fun to play with, make massively and carefully planned battles, fold and twist and whatnot, and beat your shitty friends over the head with.
Today's kids just have these shit movies. They're getting the shaft.
Man these movies suck. I liked the first one but any of them after that were painful to watch. Nothing but bad acting and nonstop bad CGI and weird noises.
