There is a lot of promising research out there, I will give you that. But, there has been for a while now and not much has come of it.

Chemo is pretty bad stuff, but it has multiple uses. Not just cancer, but some hematologic disorders and I am sure other crap out there. It can be a very useful therapy if the right situation presents itself.

I'll have to show my wife this since she is a pediatric oncology nurse. I bet she will laugh since if there was a cure for cancer, companies would sell that cure and make a ton of money.

SilentD feels that a cure for cancer would likely cost zero for some reason.

Will this be before or after you teach her how to run 11.0 in a GTR?

If there's money to be lost by one company, I can assure you it would be made up by other companies, like INSURANCE COMPANIES. Lets think about htis, a cheap cure for cancer. Ya think that maybe the insurance companies would endorse this just a little bit????

Is this part of ObamaCare or something?

If there was a cure for cancer, one of the big Pharma companies would be all over this. Cancer is still going to occur, it's not like there is a vacine. This is a treatment, so it would make BIG money.

It would if there was money to be made. Big Pharma companies would be throwing money at it if it was legit. This would be a cash cow. Think about it...If you could treat cancer, you'd have longer life expectancies and they'd eventually get them for heart attacks, strokes, etc.

I don't know if funding would be the issue. I think science is the bigger barrier. Even if there were limitless funds, we are still limited by the types of materials and knowledge we have.

i agree with that.

i do have to say after reading the clinical study, there is still a ways to go and i jumped the gun but i still believe cancer IMO can be stopped\cured with a strict vegetarian diet and hemp oil due to the fact that cancers main food source is sugar...

Quote:
Every doctor learned back in medical school all about Otto Warburg's discovery; a discovery of humongous proportions, because way back in the thirties Otto discovered the main biochemical cause of cancer, or what differentiates a cancer cell from a normal, healthy cell. So big a discovery was this, that Otto Warburg was awarded the Nobel Prize.

Cancer has only one prime cause. It is the replacement of normal oxygen respiration of the body's cells by an anaerobic [i.e., oxygen-deficient] cell respiration. -Dr. Otto Warburg

But what else does Warburg's discovery tell us. First off, it tells us that cancer metabolizes much differently than normal cells. Normal cells need oxygen. Cancer cells despise oxygen. In fact, oxygen therapy is a favorite among many of the alternative clinics we've researched.

Another thing this tells us is that cancer metabolizes through a process of fermentation.

If you've ever made wine, you'll know that fermentation requires sugar.

The metabolism of cancer is approximately 8 times greater than the metabolism of normal cells.

Okay, so here is what we can put together knowing the above: The body is constantly overworked trying to feed this cancer. The cancer is constantly on the verge starvation and thus constantly asking the body to feed it. When the food supply is cut off, the cancer begins to starve unless it can make the body produce sugar to feed itself.

The wasting syndrome, cachexia, is the body producing sugar from proteins (you heard it right, not from carbohydrates or fats, but from proteins) in a process called glycogenesis. This sugar feeds the cancer. The body finally dies of starvation, trying to feed the cancer.
Hemp oil -

Quote:
The American College of Physicians (ACP) issued a new policy statement last week endorsing medical marijuana use. The group is urging the government to reverse its ban on medical treatments using marijuana. "ACP encourages the use of non-smoked forms of THC (the main psychoactive element in marijuana) that have proven therapeutic value," the new policy statement said. The Philadelphia-based organization, the second largest doctors group in the United States, cited studies into marijuana’s medical applications such as treating severe weight loss associated with illnesses such as AIDS, and treating nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy for cancer patients.[i]
Quote:
The medical science is strongly in favor of THC laden hemp oil as a primary cancer therapy, not just in a supportive role to control the side effects of chemotherapy. The International Medical Verities Association is putting hemp oil on its cancer protocol. It is a prioritized protocol list whose top five items are magnesium chloride, iodine, selenium, Alpha Lipoic Acid and sodium bicarbonate. It makes perfect sense to drop hemp oil right into the middle of this nutritional crossfire of anti cancer medicines, which are all available without prescription

Its not pleasant that is for sure. But hey, IT WORKS!! How about this wonder pill? Does it make me have 4 hour long erections and increase testosterone while curing my cancer? Cause that would be awesome. We can get shamwow guy to market it on CNN overnight.

Exactly. Just cause hospitals might take a hit, other companies will make a killing. Those hospitals taking the hit, will redirect efforts into another "money making plan". Such as with every other corporation ever, ever.

Of course. A cancer cure pill would be a godsend, and probably cost half of what cancer treatment is now, but without all the actual work.
