San Fran Spending Over $37,000 PER HOMELESS PERSON...
... and they're not making a dent in the problem. I saw this article and it reminded me of what a socialist philosophy will usually bring to a community.

Itís a problem thatís costing the city of San Francisco hundreds of millions of dollars annually to try to solve Ė and for its new mayor, something that's starting to become increasingly smelly too.
London Breed says the amount of feces scattered on the streets of the wealthy city in recent months is among the worst she has ever seen, and San Francisco reportedly is set to spend nearly $280 million in its next budget fighting homelessness Ė an average of $37,300 for each of the cityís estimated 7,499 homeless residents.

"I will say there is more feces on the sidewalks than Iíve ever seen growing up here," Breed, who was sworn in last week, said days later in an NBC Bay Area interview. She added that outreach groups funded by the city need to do a better job making sure the homeless clean up trash and waste from bodily functions they sometimes leave behind.

It's sad to see another great city like San Fran turning into pure shit!!

Marko 07-19-2018 03:29 PM

And the cost of living is how much out there ?

cmntmxr57 07-19-2018 03:46 PM

So Robert Gammon, you're ok with shit in the street, syringes everywhere, and people in places they shouldn't be with scissors in their hand?

How about we send them over to your place for a little while? We'll see how quickly you join the FedUp Populace campaign.

I, CMNT has a solution...

There is a tower in San Fran. It is called Millenium Tower (or something like that). When they built it, they didn't anchor the pylons down to bedrock. As such, the tower leans. Many pissed of million dollar condo owners are livid (I know that comment seemed redundant). So as they vacate and write-off their losses, move these homeless people in.

"Help" the tower list in a direction where it won't hurt much and let it topple, problem solved. All homeless gone. Just come through with a front loader and push everything into the bay.

Yea, so I'm a little heartless today... Shoot me.

Wonderful product of liberalism....

What do you expect from stupid people, that don't earn the money they piss away!!!!!
liberal leeches think all the dough they waste is unlimited and have no issue with just spending spending spending.

All these issues are easy enough to fix, MUCH CHEAPER, but nobody in power has the balls to do what actually needs to be done!!!!

San Fran shows the problem with socialism. Their bosses figure, if they give people what they want, people will pitch in and help each other out and society will be a nirvana.

Welcome to reality, dumbasses. Some people are losers. They'll crap in the street, shoot up and toss the syringe and camp out wherever they can.

The more they give, the more homeless will show up. Problem will keep growing no matter how much they spend because they have a finite amount of money to spend and there are a LOT of poor people in the world.

I think, after the first epidemic hits, San Fran's laws on allowing homeless to hang out, shoot up, crap where they want to will change rapidly.

You could pay a homeless person a lot less than $37k/year to clean up shit.

Flyn 07-19-2018 06:59 PM

If I'm mayor of another city with a homeless problem, I'm paying them all a smaller amount to get on buses... To San Fran.

already happening, cities have been giving away one way bus tickets for decades. Even plane tickets too, Hawaii has a program offering one way plane tickets back to the mainland for the homeless.

here is an interesting read

Same here. I've been over seas, California, and in 45 states total.
The reporters make it look much worse that it is.
They go to the pockets of homeless that we never see and make it look like it's in front of city hall!!!
Or the POS liberal power players bring them some where and call the press!!!!

Like when that soros guy was caught paying rioters.

There used to be a homeless pocket on Harlem & 290, but if you didn't know exactly where it was, you never saw them.

Yea, because most of this mess is located in the Tenderloin and Mission districts.

If you're in the financial, North Beach, marina district, etc, and other more "touristy" areas, you're not going to see it.
