China's Yuan currency is suffering big losses while the dollar is growing stronger.

Quote:

China's yuan CNY=CFXS fell to fresh six-year lows against the U.S. dollar on Thursday after the global dollar index rebounded sharply overnight.

The onshore yuan opened trade at 6.7980 per dollar.

The People's Bank of China set a weaker official midpoint for the fifth consecutive day at 6.7885.

New U.S. President-elect Donald Trump had lambasted China throughout the election campaign, drumming up headlines with his pledges to slap 45 percent tariffs on imported Chinese goods and label the country a currency manipulator in his first day in office.

BADAZZTEALCOBRA 11-09-2016 08:52 PM

There's tons of protestors in major cities right now, thousands marching through the streets and clogging up Trump tower areas....

Give it a rest you babies.

Sprayin 11-09-2016 09:05 PM

This is what happens when they get someone on the outside of the established power structure elected to the highest position. I just hope it doesn't go to his head.

Also, I'm with @tinfoilhat - Trump is definitely a time traveler.

Flyn 11-09-2016 09:07 PM

Trump's election could seriously be a historical turning point in American elections. I hope it's not a 1 and done.

Flyn 11-09-2016 09:11 PM

The Supreme Court should switch from a left wing bias to a right wing bias, maybe drastically so. Trump should have no trouble getting his choice of candidate approved.

Quote:

WASHINGTON — The election of Donald J. Trump means that Justice Antonin Scalia’s seat, vacant since he died in February, will almost certainly be filled by a conservative nominee. Back to full strength, the court will again tilt right, as it has for decades.

And with the court’s two senior liberal members fairly old, that may be only the start. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is 83, and Justice Stephen G. Breyer is 78.

Ryan02Stang 11-09-2016 09:48 PM

Didn't that slut Ginsburg say she would leave if Trump won?

Chester Copperpot 11-09-2016 09:51 PM

Yup. Highest legal position in the land and she's stooping to childish antics like all these other pieces of shit.

Time for her to resign, too.

Sprayin 11-09-2016 09:51 PM

I can't wait for his first state of the Union address

GLIGTO 11-09-2016 10:58 PM

I find it incredibly interesting that the same crowd who was so shocked and appalled at Trumps comment in the last debate (I'll accept the results of the election... If I win) and talked about him undermining democracy, well they're the same bitch ass crowd doing that very thing right as we speak. What the hypocritical fuck?

Turbocharged400sbc 11-10-2016 05:49 AM

Worst of all he brought back Slimmaro

VenomousDSG 11-10-2016 08:23 AM

I am at a loss for words at how pathetic, whiny, ignorant, and hypocritical a lot of people are acting like in this country over the past 24 hours. Just strait up children.

The people have spoken and democracy actually worked, GIVE IT A REST, Trump is president. We've had to put up with Obama for the past 8 fucking years, now it's YOUR turn.

Does anyone have any real information on his plans for the marriage equality act?

Eagle 11-10-2016 08:27 AM

It is indeed something for the world to see happen - as all these major powers at play around the globe snap to an embracing or at the very least, neutral tone now that Trump won.

Even ISIS itself called on Trump to pull troops out and allow them to solve their own conflicts without our presence or opinion on how they do so.

What happened to the market crashing?

The only bad thing that's happened is all the exploded SJW minds around America loosing their cool over the outcome.

VenomousDSG 11-10-2016 08:32 AM

I actually believe the market is still going to take a pretty big hit sometime soon, it's more or less lagging right now. We'll see what happens today, wait for things to sink in and catch up. Executives, heavy investors, world leaders, etc, are all shitting their pants right now with uncertainty. That is never a good thing when it comes to the market.

Eagle 11-10-2016 08:33 AM

Let's be honest, the market has been due for a correction for quite awhile now - point is, Trump isn't why it'll eventually happen.

Part of the problem is I don't think anyone has any information on anything other than "trust him".....

My guess is many social issues won't be changing for the most part. He's going to appoint a justice to the SCOTUS that may make things a bit more conservative, but that's about it really.

His big focus is going to be on repealing and replacing Obamacare, and then building the wall, along with getting a justice in place that's hopefully very pro-2A.

OffshoreDrilling 11-10-2016 09:17 AM

i don't think any social issues are going to progress or regress. I feel like trump just took positions to garner votes from his respective party. Not that he is passionate about moving things either direction.

I'm a bit nervous and uncertain on where things are going to head given that he is an unknown quantity in the political world. It should settle down after he gets some time in the big chair and we can reasonably predict his future actions.

the market crashing would be the equivalent of people whining on facebook. and it would go back to what it was doing quickly. IMHO it's overvalued anyway, but that's a separate reason for it to decline. trump getting in some real protectionist trade policy however, would be a good reason for it to decline. and a stupid economic act.

Physically cry? Bitch and moaned on the internet day and night nonstop? Storm the street by the thousands and protest over it? I never saw a single conservative do that.

There are levelheaded people as well as emotional trainwrecks on both sides of almost every issue in our world. This isn't anything new. Saying all liberals are whiny crybabies is similar to liberals saying all conservatives are racist cousin fuckers.
