I feel bad for him. What really amounts to a moderate (esp by todays standards) business Democrat that would have had a great deal of success back in the Clinton era. If he says fuck you to his haters I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be the schism in the Democratic Party.

I would run on a "back to normal" ticket if I was him. He could pull reps with that too.

The recipients of Donald Trump Jr.'s mystery phone calls, which have long been rumored by Schiff and DEMS to have been "the smoking gun", have been revealed. DEMS said the calls were made to Trump Sr. and were evidence of Russian collusion because they were made during the time when Trump Jr. was allegedly talking with Russians. Turns out the calls were made to family friends, not Trump Sr. Another brick in the DEM collusion wall is removed by this revelation.

^^ Made me curious about how many abortion clinics are in the U.S. As people get better at birth control and at realizing that killing babies is not a good thing, the number of abortions has gone down.

I believe in pro choice but I'd be happier seeing adoptions rather than abortions.

Seems to me most late term abortions would be for health risks to the mother or deformed babies that aren't going to live or who will have health issues if they are born.

Planned Parenthood is just another money making big corporation.

Then why are liberals fighting for it to be allowed by law?

And there are books about this guy...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kermit_Gosnell

Quote:
Kermit Barron Gosnell (born February 9, 1941) is an American former physician[2] and abortion provider who was convicted of murdering three infants who were born alive during attempted abortion procedures; he was also convicted of involuntary manslaughter of one woman during an abortion procedure

Gosnell owned and operated the Women's Medical Society clinic in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and he was a prolific prescriber of OxyContin.[8] In 2011, Gosnell and various co-defendant employees were charged with eight counts of murder, 24 felony counts of performing illegal abortions beyond the state of Pennsylvania's 24-week time limit, and 227 misdemeanor counts of violating the 24-hour informed consent law. The murder charges related to an adult patient, Karnamaya Mongar, who died following an abortion procedure, and seven newborns said to have been killed by having their spinal cords severed with scissors after being born alive during attempted abortions. In May 2013, Gosnell was convicted of first degree murder in the deaths of three of the infants and involuntary manslaughter in the death of Karnamaya Mongar. Gosnell was also convicted of 21 felony counts of illegal late-term abortion, and 211 counts of violating the 24-hour informed consent law. After his conviction, Gosnell waived his right to appeal in exchange for an agreement by prosecutors not to seek the death penalty. He was sentenced instead to life in prison without the possibility of parole.[9][10]

President Donald Trump on Friday said the U.S. is suspending its involvement in the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty and would start the process of withdrawing entirely in six months.

“For far too long, Russia has violated the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with impunity, covertly developing and fielding a prohibited missile system that poses a direct threat to our allies and troops abroad,” Trump said in a statement.

The U.S. will “suspend” INF Treaty obligations starting Saturday and begin withdrawing from the treaty over the course of six months “unless Russia comes back into compliance by destroying all of its violating missiles, launchers and associated equipment,” the statement said.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also announced Friday that the treaty "will terminate" if Russia continues to violate it.

The INF Treaty prevents the U.S. and Russia from possessing any land-based cruise missiles that can strike within a range of 310 to 3,410 miles.

Russia is already violating the terms of this treaty and developing these intermediate range weapons.

If we keep the treaty, the only country it stops from developing the weapons is the U.S.

A treaty is no good unless both sides follow the rules.

The media spin on this one is for morons only because anyone with half a brain can understand why Trump is pulling the U.S. out.

https://www.theverge.com/2019/2/1/18...-factory-build

Quote:

Days after Foxconn’s Louis Woo told Reuters that the company is no longer planning to build a factory in Wisconsin, Foxconn says the factory plan is back on.

“After productive discussions between the White House and the company, and after a personal conversation between President Donald J. Trump and Chairman Terry Gou, Foxconn is moving forward with our planned construction of a Gen 6 fab facility,” a statement read. A Gen 6 facility is smaller than the factory Foxconn initially promised in 2017, but larger than the assembly facility Foxconn said it would build yesterday.

Foxconn has changed its plans multiple times since 2017, when then-Governor Scott Walker wooed the company with a record-breaking $4.5 billion in taxpayer subsidies. At the time, Foxconn promised a state-of-the-art, “Gen 10.5” screen-producing facility, and Walker and Trump touted the deal for bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US. In June of last year, however, the company said it would make a far smaller “Gen 6” facility. This week, the company said it wouldn’t make screens in Wisconsin at all, and would instead do a mix of assembly and “knowledge work.” The sudden change in plans seemed to catch Wisconsin officials off guard, and left locals worried about the future of their communities.

Yesterday, the company told The Verge that the market has changed since the Wisconsin project was first announced, but that the company remains committed to the technology park project and meeting its original target of creating 13,000 jobs. Regarding what people would do at the park, the company emphasized research into its “AI 8K + 5G ecosystem.” It also listed several projects that would begin in the next 18 months, including a research and development center and an assembly facility.

Today’s statement saying that the Gen 6 factory will be built after all does not contain a timeline or any further details.
