AT&T shares produce a good yield on dividends. I believe it's currently at 51 cents per share, which next payout is on May 1st. AT&T issues dividends every quarter.
I like AT&T as a long term investment. I have some AT&T in my IRA. The dividend is nice for sure!

There were a few other stock options that paid out well on dividends. IBM being one of them. They're next "expected" payout will be around $2.23/share. They're currently sitting at $144.10/share right now.

https://www.predictit.org/markets/de...-year-end-2019

850 funded by credit card (max in a market)
800 / 0.9 = 944 shares of trump president by end of 2019
profits 944 * 0.1 = 94.40
predictit 10% charge of your profits, 94.40 * 0.9 = 84.96
predictit 5% fee to process withdrawals, 84.96 * 0.95 = 80.71

80.71 / 850 = 9.495% ROI by the end of the year

Whats everyone been eyeing up lately? I just sold off most of my Amazon stock. Possible re-up when the price goes down. It seems it has it's highs and lows.

I've been holding my positions for the most part. A few weeks ago, I sold my apple stock for Amazon, to avoid some of the volatility with the China trade talks.

Yesterday when the S&P500 hit a new high, I sold a small chunk of my VOO holdings. I will buy back when the market dips or use the funds to buy something else.

Gotcha seems reasonable. Buy on the lows and sell on the highs.

Amazon is listed as a good buy but once it hit 2000 a share it hasn't moved.

Any other hot stocks? It appears the Pot Stocks finally neutralized.

Defense stocks have been hot in the last week with Iran/US conflict being in the news. I haven't looked too closely into them. Lockheed Martin would have been a good buy at the beginning of the year.

i'm just doing boring default sp500 etf things in my normal investments. in my wild and crazy stuff i have doubled down on private company stock with a buddy's business and then a much more formal 'real business' - the first round with both people (different companies) i actually 'lost my ass in' but the new ideas are good and we'll see if i lose my ass again / retire at 94, or if i can actually make some money [to overcome massive losses and get back to 0 lol]. this is also why i'm doing mostly boring sp500 things and should probably stick to that now that i'm 40.

although that's still super boring.

also have a little crypto as well as stock options in the decent sized startup i'm working at.
