Throttle relearn

06 Impala LTZ 3.9

I installed a new (used) throttle body and a new MAP sensor since my car was throwing those codes.

The car had a higher RPM and wouldn't drop below 1k. We thought cleaning the throttle body would do the trick and it didn't.

I looked up relearning procedures online and nothing seemed change it.

It doesn't idle at 1k anymore, but once I put it in drive, the idle raises and the car accelerates as If I'm giving the car a little gas.

Is there hope to relearn myself, or do I need to see a mechanic.

Thanks! Seems like a different procedure than I've tried already.

I'll give this a shot.

On a side note, THE CEL hasnt come back on.

Does driving make the car relearn over the course of time.
