Taking it easy today, back still messed up but feeling a little better, bench a warm up and 5 working sets at 225 10,10,10,8,8 and a couple more at 135, hammer strength incline machine fly machine and 30 minutes of cardio

I have an insanely busy week at work with a lot of afternoon appointments to look at jobs.
Gonna have to double up on workouts this week.
Back and shoulders today, hopefully throw in a mile or 2 jog.
Wont make it Wednesday and Thursday, so Friday legs/abs
Couple of sets of BI's and Tri's on chest day Saturday

I did a 5 minute bike then 5 elliptical then 5 stairway to nowhere for cardio, I hate that fucking stairmill or whatever they call them

Did some light chest today. Both cables and flat bench, followed by about 15-20 minutes of cardio. (Stair Master and Treadmill). Work is crazy today and I was super pressed for time.

Also super disheartened right now. 45 days until the Bahamas and I have started my really strict diet along with zero booze...... except Saturday after dropping the wife off at the airport I went to sit back down in the car and idk what happened but a major shooting pain from my lower back spine area.

No idea what I did, was totally fine then suddenly horrific pain.It is like a shooting pain depending what way I bend or sit. Guessing pinched a nerve or slight muscle pull? It has slowly started to get better, with some stretching and heat..... but this puts a damper on my weight lifting. I was really planning to turn it up a notch before Bahamas.

Idk just a super depressing day. I just feel down and disheartened.

I feel you, I messed up my lower back last Monday doing some light warm up sets, took a couple days off itís still too messed up to hit legs, just work around it the best you can you can still progress on a lot of other stuff while not using your lower back

It was the weirdest thing though. It was not even when working out.... I mean I was getting into the car. I guess I just shifted my weight in the wrong way? It was so painful I had to get out of the car and walk a little bit, I was actually concerned I was going to have to go to the hospital.

Thankfully it has slowly gotten better, but still concerned as to why it happened.
