So I'm at this casino in Dubuque and anybody that spent money there got entered into a drawing to win 1 of three items, a baseball, bat or jersey each signed by 12 former players. And guess what? I won the jersey!
Now I have a confession to make and that's that I've never really followed much baseball. In fact of the 12 guys on this list I've only heard of Reggie Jackson and Jose Canseco. (Only reason I know about Canseco is his controversial book about steroid use.) So who can tell me about some of these players? Were any of these guys as famous as guys like Jeter, Barry bonds or Manny Ramirez back in their day? Lastly I'll probably frame this jersey and hang onto it since I don't really own any sport memorabilia, but is there a chance all these autographs could be worth something someday?
