Ford Mustang FR500S

1 of only 77 ever produced

Zero racing miles!

The only Ford racing car ever made right on the production line, as seen and raced in the highly-competitive Ford Racing Mustang Challenge Series. (www.mustangchallenge.com) Also eligible for SCCA and NASA. Brand new, never raced and absolutely perfect condition.

These cars originally sold new for $75,000. The "little brother" to the $125,000 Grand-Am championship-winning FR500C, the FR500S is capable of equal lap times and easier to drive because of less weight over the front axle.

Potential collectibility aside, the FR500S is a remarkably fast, fun, durable and safe car for track days or competitive racing.

In 2010, Miller Motorsports Park will run its own 14-race series featuring the FR500S - with the exciting option to compete in the professional Mustang Challenge events held in the spring and fall.

For complete specifications, see below. For additional information, please e-mail the Mustang Challenge Series director Lynda Randall at [email protected] or call 435-277-8004. This is a no reserve auction. Bid with confidence and good luck!

I found out Art was already talking to Lynda Randall from Miller Motorsports @ Autobahn on Sunday after seeing how well the Mustangs were doing. He said Miller has 20 of these FR500S's to sell, they bought all of the remaining ones from Ford for a special price. Ford wanted to concentrate on the new 2010 body style. Perhaps we'll see Art in one soon?

They called the FR500S "Budget Racer"

It cost $50K less than Boy Racer
