I wouldn't invest a ton of money right away especially if you decide not to take up the game seriously.

Sports Authority usually has good sales complete sets of clubs. Any set they sell will be better than your abilities for a long time.

Jim, if you're serious about taking up the game you should probably get fitted. Couple variables include the lie and length of the club. You're a pretty tall person, so, I would keep those two things in mind.

hhhmmm... i really dont think mine are worth all that much. and would be a great beginner set due to the progressive irons
