for jimbos car, id go with the 295 or 315. he doesnt really need a big sidewall, its better to have a wider tire for street and occasional strip. plus those et streets are sticky as hell, ill be sporting a pair this summer.

Yeah it will look good...Im running a 295 BFG on my 10.5's and they fit really good...

they should be fine, the 275 mickey fit fine on my 9" rim and did not bulge at all so i think the 295 will bulge a little but will work good. might want to creep on the boards and see what others have done though.

Actually the 295/45/17 fits just fine on a 9 inch rim. Actually, I think they may be too narrow for a 10.5 rim. They're really not that wide, but they are tall.

Be advised that you WILL lose some handling with these. The sidewall is much higher than the 275's or 315's and you will notice it.

Jimbo, if you are not planning on too many trips to the track I'd get a 275 (9" rim) or 315 (if you're using a 10.5"rim).

Close... it is like 27.3" or something like. I don't know if I would run those with the stock 3.55s.

Run 315/35/17 BFG's. Almost as sticky as an MT but will get slightly more mileage out of them

The rims I am considering only come in 17x9 or 18x9... and I'd go with 17"s, so I'll have to do a 295.
