Yea, real good purchase option for Mikey.

Let's play out the scenario..........

1) Mikey buys car
2) Takes $11,000 and get's motor, spray, etc. etc.
3) Now he's got a 140,000 mile car with a nice combo and $22,000 invested
4) He gets sick of the car after a few month (like he always does ;) ) and wants to sell it
5) He's upside down on the car by at least several thousand $$$$

That sound about right? :D

Mikey could always buy it, resist the mod bug, drive it for a few months to see if he likes Vettes and then sell it and upgrade to a newer one. That way he'd have money in reserve for repairs.

11K is around blue book price for an excellent shape Vette with 140,000 miles. Offer the guy $9500 and see what happens.

I think it would be a losing scenario. What i mean by that is if i bought it and drove it, I would not get my money back at all. I would get lowballed like crazy.
